GWC’S largest warehousing facility of 33k square meters with a capacity of 36,000 pallet locations begins Operation.

Gulf Warehousing Company has commenced operations from the largest third-party warehousing facility in Qatar, which is a 33,000 square meter warehouse covering the requirements of Bulk and In-Rack material storage and handling, temperature-controlled, ambient or open yard conditions. In addition to being the largest warehouse, the facility dubbed “33k” also boasts the most advanced warehousing technology, with VNA racking up to 12 meters, modern VNA man-up machines, dock leveler controls, super-flat flooring and the latest Warehouse Management Systems.”Both we and our customers are excited to be operating out of the Logistics Village Qatar (LVQ). This facility brings alive the company’s vision to create an advanced logistics hub that marries latest technology with sophisticated IT infrastructure and modern architectural development to create a paper-less warehouse operation. The warehouse storage capacity is 36,000 pallet locations and 33k is already at 80% occupancy in terms of pallet positions, we are catering to the storage and distribution needs of several industry verticals such as manufacturing, oil&gas, telecom, aviation, among many others.

The systems and warehouse setup allow us to maintain our commitments to achieving 100% inventory accuracy as well as 100% accurate on-time order fulfillment, as is necessary in the deadline-driven businesses such as those of our esteemed customers” said Nader Hakim, Director of Contract Logistics at the Gulf Warehousing Company. “We continue to be able to offer cost-effective storage through economies of scale, with the ability to provide scalable storage solutions to any customer with a pay-as-you-go scenario, charging only for utilized storage on a per pallet basis. Our objective is to empower companies to focus on their core business by taking away the logistics headache. Our customers are busy doing what they do best growing their businesses and bottom lines without having to think twice about space or delivery constraints.”

33k is another addition to the Gulf Warehousing Company’s portfolio, currently managing over 150,000 square meters of warehousing in Qatar.
