Gulf Warehousing Company Q.P.S.C. (GWC Group), one of the region’s leading logistics groups providing integrated and cross-border logistics solutions, has renewed its strategic partnership and sponsorship agreement with Lusail Sports Club for the 2026/2027 season, reaffirming its long-standing commitment to community wellbeing through sport and its support for Qatar National Vision 2030.

The agreement was formalised during a signing ceremony held at The Torch Doha on 17 August 2026, attended by Matthew Kearns, Group CEO of GWC Group, and Nawaf Mohamad Al Mudahka, President of Lusail Sports Club, alongside partners and representatives from a range of sectors.

The renewed partnership builds on the long-standing relationship between the two organisations and reflects GWC Group’s belief that sport brings people together, encourages healthier lifestyles and strengthens communities. Through partnerships such as this, the Group continues to support the objectives of Qatar National Vision 2030 by investing in community wellbeing and helping build a stronger nation.

Matthew Kearns, Group CEO of GWC Group, said: “Qatar National Vision 2030 recognises the role of sport in building healthy, thriving communities where people are more connected, engaged and resilient. At GWC Group, we believe businesses have a responsibility to contribute to that vision because the communities in which we operate matter just as much to us as the customers we serve.”

He added: “Renewing our partnership with Lusail Sports Club reflects the role we believe GWC Group should play in Qatar. Beyond logistics, we are committed to contributing to the country’s long-term development by creating lasting value for our customers, our people and the communities we serve. Supporting sport is an investment in community wellbeing, and it is a commitment we are proud to continue.”

GWC Group has consistently invested in initiatives that promote community wellbeing through sport. From serving as the Official Logistics Provider for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ to supporting local clubs and grassroots sporting initiatives, the Group continues to contribute to Qatar National Vision 2030 by encouraging healthier lifestyles, strengthening communities and expanding opportunities for participation in sport.

This long-term commitment reflects the same philosophy that underpins GWC Group’s business across the GCC: creating lasting value wherever it operates. Today, the Group manages more than 4 million sqm of logistics infrastructure across 20 strategic locations and moves more than 2 million tonnes of freight annually through an integrated air, sea and land logistics network reaching more than 120 countries through over 550 freight partners worldwide.
