Gulf Warehousing Company Q.S.C. (GWC) has been awarded the prestigious SCATA 2011 award for 3PL Service Provider of the Year. The ceremony was held on May 9, 2011 at the Jumeirah Zabeel Saray, Dubai.
The Supply Chain And Transport Award (SCATA) 2011 award recognizes logistics services provider which has done exceptionally well in growing its business with expanding market presence. It is also for a company that shows prudent and sustainable business growth with substantial investment to support its operation and achieve excellence in service offering.
GWC was selected based on the following criteria, namely investment, market expansion, financial performance and future expansion as well as strategies. This is the second time GWC has been awarded for its excellence service, following a win in 2010 for Best Logistics Company.
Founded in 2004, GWC is a logistics leader in providing customized integrated logistics solutions in Qatar and the middle-east region. The core services such as custom brokerage, international freight forwarding, warehousing and distribution are fully in-house.
