GWC achieves ISO 14001 : 2004 for its Ras Laffan Warehouse

GWC is proud to announce that it has now achieved the internationally recognized ISO 14001 : 2004 certification for its warehousing and transportation activities in Ras Laffan City.

The certification addresses GWC’s Environmental Management System and assures that it complies with the rigorous performance standards set forth by the International Standards Organization (ISO). The certification body of TUV SUD Middle East approved the award of the certification to GWC on February 2, 2011.

Being ISO 14001:2004 certified verifies that GWC operations is minimizing its harmful effects on the environment and is continually working to improve its environmental impact on all level of its processes.

GWC Chemical Warehouse at Ras Laffan caters to chemicals of various classes to serve oil & gas industry and its sub-contractors. The warehouse is equipped with all safety and environmental friendly features, the personnel are trained to store and handle most chemical classes. The warehouse in Ras Laffan is already certified for OHSAS 18001 : 2007, Health and Safety Standard;
