Gulf Warehousing Company and INTERCEPT Technology Middle East sign Qatar Agreement for Anti-Corrosion Packaging Technology

The Gulf Warehousing Company (GWC), Qatar’s leading Logistics solutions provider has concluded an exclusivity agreement with INTERCEPT Technology Middle East covering the region of Qatar for INTERCEPT Anti-corrosion packing materials.

INTERCEPT TechnologyTM was founded in the United States of America, and specializes in packaging for storage, logistics and preservation. INTERCEPT TechnologyTM is the new generation of corrosion prevention, and provides an active protection for all materials. Its line is especially relevant in the Automotive, Electronics, Oil & Gas and Museums businesses, where INTERCEPT is used to protect high-value items especially during medium and long term storage.

Developed by Lucent Technologies and Bell Laboratories, INTERCEPT comes in several forms such as shrink films, stretch wrap, foam, container/crate lining or even bags. The patented material absorbs (neutralizes) naturally-present corrosive gases from the air and thereby protects any material it encases for several years. At the same time, the material is a green solution being fully environmentally-friendly and oil-free.
