For the 3rd year in a row, GWC delivers its blood donation drive

Gulf Warehousing Company (Q.S.C.), the leading logistics provider in the region, has donated over 70 units of blood during a blood drive held at its Street 15th premises on September 10th, 2015.

In cooperation with Hamad Medical Corporation, the company invited its employees to participate in the blood donation drive through an extended internal campaign. The result was the arrival of 97 employees who exemplified the spirit of giving and volunteerism encouraged by Gulf Warehousing Company.

GWC Group CEO Mr. Ranjeev Menon commended both the GWC employees and the HMC for ensuring that the campaign was a success, and noted: “as part of our larger responsibility to the local society, we will continue to reach out in meaningful ways that promote the well-being of Qatari society and that of the nation.”

GWC and HMC have repeatedly cooperated to organize blood drives, which resulted most recently in GWC being honored during HMC World Blood Donor Day, which drew attention to more than 400 blood donors and a number of local organizations that have especially contributed to the HMC blood drives.
